Project Overview:

Maven is a long term partner so when they reached out for a rebrand, it was game on. This was a serious shift in look and feel as their previous headshots had always been shot against a black backdrop.

Objectives:

  1. Redefine the firm’s visual identity to feel less like a traditional financial institution and more like a trusted, approachable presence in people’s daily lives.
  2. Replace rigid, formal headshots with relaxed imagery that reflects how the team actually works — casual, collaborative, and client-focused.
  3. Use natural light and real office settings to strip away pretense and highlight the human side of financial guidance.

Scope of Work:

To bring the new brand identity to life, the session focused on capturing honest, everyday moments in the team’s real working environment.

  • Collaborated with the firm’s leadership and marketing team to align visual tone with the new brand strategy.
  • Conducted an on-site session using ambient office light to maintain a natural and unfiltered look.
  • Directed team members in relaxed, conversational poses to reflect everyday interactions.
  • Delivered a gallery of brand-consistent images suitable for website, press, and digital platforms.
  • Provided subtle retouching to maintain a polished but honest final result.

The result was a library of natural, confident imagery that aligned seamlessly with the firm’s new direction. Each team member responded positively to the experience, and the client was especially pleased with how the visuals captured both personality and credibility.
